Fees

Regarding 2011/2012 SCAS/MCAA Affiliation:

As you may be aware there are once again changes afoot and hopefully by now you will have seen the renewal pack from Archery GB.

As per Archery GB renewals notice; please pay the AGB fee to them, as requested, using their return paperwork, please keep a copy. They will issue the ABG membership cards accordingly.
Please do not follow their advice on County and Region renewal.  SCAS has determined to use an en block scheme administered via the County and at our 2011 AGM, MCAA decided to follow that model.

The SCAS and MCAA affiliation renewals will be collected as a block fee from individual clubs. This fee will be based on the individual membership numbers in the clubs registered in the prior affiliation year. The County Treasurer will shortly contact clubs individually to notify them of the amount due based upon the records kept.
Schools and University Clubs en-block fees will remain as  2010/11.  Physically handicapped clubs will continue to be free.

The block fee will be payable to MCAA by 15th Nov 2011 (Please pay earlier if possible to ease the administrative burden), the cheque should be made payable to “MCAA”.  Please include a copy of the Club AGB annual return and send this plus the cheque to the MCAA Treasurer.

Once the block fee is paid then all Club members and new joiners in the coming affiliation year will be considered to be affiliated to MCAA and SCAS with no further payment in the affiliation year.  Please continue to send any AGB new joiner paperwork through to the County Treasurer during the year so that our records can be maintained.

Any newly formed club should contact the treasurer to ascertain fees payable; these will be based upon a proportion of a similarly sized club.
